Playa Grande is located just north of Tamarindo in the Province of Guanacaste, on Costa Rica's northwest Pacific coast.

The most convenient way to get here is to fly into the new international airport in Liberia, Guanacaste, just a 45 minute drive away. Many major airlines, including Delta, American, Continental and US Airways fly into Liberia Airport. Transportation to and from the airport in Liberia is included in your Retreat package.

You can also fly into San Jose International airport and catch a connecting flight to the airport in Tamarindo. Sansa Air (www.flysansa.com) offers several daily flights from San Jose to Tamarindo. (Note: Sansa flies 12-seat Beechcraft Caravans. They have a very strict weight limit for luggage... usually only 1 piece of checked luggage weighing no more than 25 lbs, plus one carry-on. Please see their website for specific allowances) Transportation to and from the airport in Tamarindo is included in your Retreat package.
