From Sarah V. of Laguna Beach, CA:
Just wanted to send you both a heartfelt thank you for an amazing, joy-filled week! Thanks for all that you both did to make the retreat such a special experience. Pamela and I kept talking about what a great week we had and how each day was better than the next...the fun waves, the FABULOUS food, the warm water, the baby turtles, the crazy dance moves (ow~my hamstring!!) and getting to spend time with you amazing women. Anyway, It was just the best surf trip ever, period. Pamela and I have been telling our surf girlfriends here how great it was and we have 4-6 women who want to go next year!

From Nancy M. of Venice, FL:
Just a note to let you know what a wonderful time I had in Costa Rica. The memories will be etched in my mind for a lifetime. The other girls were so friendly and fun and even though some of you are accomplished surfers, your encouragement and kindness gave me confidence to try surfing for the first time at the age of 60. The instructors also were patient and very informative as well and made me feel like I could do anything. I will check surfing off my life list of things to do now.
The yoga was also great. After surfing for several hours it was a great way to get in touch with my body in a different way.
And of course the accomodations and atmosphere of the whole retreat was relaxing yet fun. I would certainly do it again. The food was wonderful tasting and healthy.
Thanks for throwing me a party for my birthday on the final day. I had a ball!!!!

From Tammy E. of Montgomery, AL:
I attended the Sol Shine Surf and Yoga Retreat in February. The retreat was fabulous. I made new friends that I treasure, from South Carolina to California. I was actually able to get up on a surf board by the end of the first lesson after no prior surfboard experience. Beth even had professional photos made to prove it! The yoga was just what I needed to relax after the surfing lessons.
The meals were delicious. Breakfast varied daily from omelets to pancakes served with fresh fruit and juices. The lunches were optional cooking classes that I thoroughly enjoyed. We were served Paella made with fresh seafood and a local chicken dish. The dinners were gourmet five star multi-course dinners made by a professional chef. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful they were!
The accommodations were luxurious and relaxing. There was plenty of time scheduled for relaxing, shopping, and touring the wildlife estuary. I can’t wait to schedule my next retreat!
